SEQUOIA + MICHAEL | Manhattan Beach

You don’t have to ask me twice to head to any beach in Los Angeles, especially Manhattan Beach – one of my favorite beaches – for an engagement session! That’s where I photographed Sequoia and Michael, and it was an absolute dream session in every way.

We headed to the shore around 6pm just when the sun was setting, which made the light golden, and the pacific ocean waters a rich turquoise color.

“We wanted an engagement session on the beach where we could wear earthly colors to match the beautiful background of the pacific ocean,” said Sequoia. Needless to say, I am there for all of that!

Sequoia wore a beautiful yellow flowing dress that she looked absolutely incredible in, and Michael opted for the tan shorts and a white button-down shirt, which blended into the beach scenery perfectly!

For their wedding in May 2021, these two lovebirds are heading to the Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach for their ceremony and then to the ballroom for the reception. I have no doubt that it’s going to be a beautiful day full of sunshine, love, and fun!
